A new banking regulation called PSD2 (Payment Services Directive) requires that a login to a bank account needs to be confirmed via two factors.

Hence, when you log in the Penta App, you will need to verify this login via a TAN. As with normal payments, this will be send via SMS to your mobile number, which is saved in your Penta account. Simply type in the TAN you received within 5 minutes to proceed with the login. 

This will further increase the security of your account and ensure that the person making the login is really you. We are working on other authentication methods such as device binding to make this even easier for you.
